Trust Thyself – Ralph Waldo Emerson

Words of wisdom from Ralph Waldo Emerson. Ralph Waldo Emerson was an American essayist, lecturer, and poet, who led the Transcendentalist movement of the mid-19th century.

Here is a great comment from someone who appreciates this video and the work of Ralph Waldo Emerson.

“Emerson. Thoreau. Whitman. The holy trinity of the American philosophy and spirituality. Emerson was the prophet, the way-maker, the teacher. Thoreau was the monk, the ascetic, the hermit-saint who put the ideas into practice. Whitman was the poet who gave them voice and rang the skies with it. Sad that so few Americans know of the spiritual heritage that waits right under their nos, though it waits at the back of their minds.”
